I am a little late on posting this wedding.  It has been quite the winter, and it is time again for wedding season to kick off.  I did however get the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding in Indianapolis.

     Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but that did not change how beautiful this couple was and how beautiful there wedding was.  The couple, had such great love for each other that it truly showed in every image.  Staying connected during your reception allows the photographer, to capture the timeless images that most couple are always asking us for.  To many times, couples get pulled different directions throughout the night.  It’s understandable, your friends and family are there and are fighting for your attention.

     There are ways to plan for these types of images, without posing.  

• Plan for it.  Make sure your arrange your day, so that you will be together.  The best way to do this is, greeting tables at the reception.  This is also helps with by giving you an alternative to the receiving line, which is time consuming.  
• Don’t set yourself up for perfection!  This is the most common mistake we see couples make.  Planning a day so tight to a schedule, that all you do is so pefect, will keep your focus on all of the details, and not each other.  Allow extra time, hire a planner, ask your photographer for help, whatever it is, do not setup your self up for stress.  
• Remember why you are getting married, each other!  Enjoy your day as a couple, you are no longer two different people, you are now one!
